Childcare FAQ:
Is Modern Allo only for people with children?
Definitely not! We wanted to create a space that was inclusive of customers (and staff) with children, but it's a completely separate play area and doesn't interfere with the main areas of the business. It's comparable to gym childcare; there if you need it, but many customers won't!

Who can use the on-site childcare?
Childcare is available to anyone, whether it's just to take a break in the coffee lounge, get work done, or get a service. Our hourly drop-in price is $9, but we also offer discounted packages and memberships for customers who visit often! With services, it's $5 for the first child and $2 for each additional child. Drop-ins are welcome, but space is first come, first serve, so reservations are strongly recommended! Childcare reservations can be made online or by phone!

Can I leave the business while my child is in childcare?
Parents/caretakers must remain on-site during their visit.

Are snacks provided?
We do not provide any snacks, but parents/caregivers can provide snacks to their child, as desired. Labeled, personal water bottles can be left with staff at check in.

Do I need a childcare reservation?
Childcare drop-ins are first come, first serve, and spaces can fill up at any time. Please let us know at the time of booking if you will need childcare with a service. Reservations are always strongly recommended!

Ages allowed: 6 weeks - 12 years.

Maximum time allowed per day:
3 hours for children under 2.
4 hours for children 2-12.
